I have been a Labor and Delivery nurse for 15 years and have worked with many women as they experienced a stillbirth loss. Does what we nurses do at the time help or hurt the grieving woman? We do things that feel right to help women, but only women who have experienced a loss can provide insight and guidance into the care we provide.
Would you be willing to assist me as I gather information on interventions that occurred in the hospital at the time of your loss and how they impact your grief? I am trying to reach women have experienced a stillbirth in the last 2 years to help provide guidance for us as we care for women who have suffered a stillbirth.
